Hunting Articles

Back from Afghanistan and back to family (and hunting)...finally!

Many of you may have noticed that the website didn't change much over the last year or so, but just so you know I do have a pretty good excuse. I deployed for my second tour to Afghanistan with the Arizona National Guard in January of 2007 and just returned in April of this year. We do apologize for the lack of updates and content revisions but were able to add a couple articles on hunting the plateau - not too bad for being 8,000 miles away in a combat zone.

Even though I was out of the loop our visitor traffic more than doubled from the previous year which is great but we recognize that new content, stories and products are what keep you coming back. So now that I'm back we'll be making a concerted effort to bring you as much informative and entertaining content as we can.

Now I'm only one guy and, try as I might, I can only do so much to provide content and pictures for the website. That's where we need your help. We are always looking for anyone out there with a story or pictures to share about their Kaibab experience. You went camping - tell us about it. You got your deer - send us pics and a story. Tagged a turkey - let's see it. You went but ate tag soup - share your hunt with us. All you have to do is email me at bigbucks@keytothekaibab.com or give me a call at 480-516-9853.

Thanks for your support of the troops and KeyToTheKaibab.com, its good to be home.
