1. Laundry: This process starts with washing all of your

2. Storage/Transport: After all of your washable hunting clothing and personables have been cleaned and dried thoroughly they now need to be stored away in H.S. Before you get in the truck...
Even before you pack your gear into your truck to head off for a Kaibab hunt of a lifetime there are a couple things you should do to protect yourself and hunting gear from the odors that can cost you the shot of a lifetime.

1. Shower: Remember, you are going to chase wild mule deer in their native terrain and they can pick up foreign smells so minute they'll have you busted from a half a mile out. So instead of showering up as if you are going out for a Friday night date with scented soap, shampoo and deodrant all of your showering soaps should be scent free.    Big Buck Tip Carry a stick of Scent-Away Deodorant in your pack and apply multiple times through out the day. I'll even apply it direct to the outside of my clothing under my arms, groin area, lower back, etc. to help fend off the odors generated from a hard day's hunting even more.

2. The Hunting Rig: First of all, never make the road trip to your hunting area in the clothes you plan on hunting in. At camp...

Okay. You prepped, you got there, now what should you do?

1. Gear: Set up camp and once again break out your SCENT KILLER Spray and start spraying down your gear. That means your tent, your bow, your rifle, binos, rangefinder, etc, etc. Get it all my friends! (Be careful not to spray directly on your optics lenses or sights.)

The hunt begins...

Of course you're getting up 3-4 hours before shooting light but before you crawl out of that warm sleeping bag and into your hunting clothes I recommend the following routine:

   Spray and spray down your whole body, all clothing including head gear and equipment. Really focus on the boots, groin and armpits and don't forget about the back of the neck. Pack your Scent Killer in your back pack and take it with you to use periodically throughout the day and don't forget your Scent-Away Deodorant. Oh and maybe hook on a Natural Pine and Fresh Earth Cover Scent Wafer for good measure.
   
   
3. The Days Hunt Ends: Hunting is tough and takes a lot of skill to get close to your prey, especially mule deer. For those of us who don't tag out right away and have to hunt again the following day I like to take another towel bath before racking out for the night.
   

Rinse and repeat....

Follow this routine during your hunt until you either bag your Kaibab buck or go home.
