A product born of real-world hunting needs.

The following life saving experience illustrates the value of quality optics and professional Alaskan guide Jaret Owens' inspiration for his Binocular Chest Pack.

The loud screams from Jaret's predator call brought the huge bear out of the adlers to within 50 yards and his client, Jim Rockstead, quickly emptied his .375 H & H into the bear. The huge bear was finally down and the two hunters were very happy after hunting hard for eight days.

Suddenly, Jaret sensed something was wrong and thought he heard faint whistles high in the snowy mountains. Jaret and Jim grabbed their binoculars and began glassing the high snowy mountains. Jim spotted movement but couldn't quite make out what it was. After a few minutes, the movement turned out to be a man in a camo jacket crawling in the snow just hours before dark. Unknown to them, this man had been in a terrible plan crash and was seriously injured. After a difficult hike and a few hours later, the two hunters were able to reach the man and found that he had multiple injuries including a leg broke in three places. The dragged the man down the mountain and across a small river to where Jim's big bear lay. The quickly skinned the bear and wrapped the injured pilot in the bear hide to keep him from freezing in the snow. The two hunters hiked all night and most of the next day to get help and were fortunate enough to make contact with the U.S. Coast Guard and get the man safely rescued.

How can you place a dollar value on quality optics and the ability to keep them safe, secure and out of the elements?
The point is that not only do quality optics often perform miracles in helping one find game; they also played an important role in saving this good man's life. This is one of many lessons Jaret Owens has learned early as a guide and hunter. Born out of necessity in an effort to protect his most valued possession, he designed the binocular chest pack that is designed to protect binos from banging and dragging while keeping them secure to his chest, making them easy to use and readily available.

With shoulder straps eliminating neck tension and inside the chest pack your binos have extra protection against dust, debri, rain and snow. The pack was designed for active people and works great while riding an ATV or horse, crawling and stalking, climbing and hiking, etc. Within the chest pack are separate compartments for essential gear and survival equipment which he feels should ALWAYS be with a hunter. Items like an LED head lamp, GPS, fire starter, maps, licenses, medicines, batteries and lens cloth fit easily and compactly in the chest pack along with binoculars up to a 10 x 42 roof prism. As a hunter, you have the ability to configure your chest pack with what you need for your hunt and conditions and serves as a great travel case while traveling. The chest pack is not just limited to binos - many use it to carry and protect the camera and video equipment as well. Still yet, the bino chest pack is a great tool for fishing, skiing, kayaking and birding.

HUNTER REVIEW
"Duwane Adams called me up and told me that I have to check out these new Bino Chest Packs and put me in touch with Jaret Owens. Jaret impressed me with is passion for hunting and his product and sent me out a chest pack that I put to use immediately on an AZ desert mule deer scouting trip. I was very impressed. The pack is easy to adjust, holds all the extras I need right were I can get to them and best of all I feel confident that my Nikon Monarch 10 x 42 binos are well protected - something I was always worried about before using the bino chest pack. 5 stars and a great product! I won't be hunting without it from now on."
