12A Big Buck Contest - IT'S ON!

Kaibab Hunters,

How about a big buck contest for each 12A season?
I can throw some of our products out there as door prizes at around $50 value each for the lucky winners! I suppose there should be some way of knowing that the submissions are from this year's hunts and from 12A - any ideas on how to do that in your field pics? Post and let me know if you want to participate. Good luck!

This sounds like a great idea! What about asking the hunter to show proof of there deer dag either by way of a scanned copy or fax? I am sure that they are many other ways to validate this but I guess that was the first that came to mind. (tag # 251.. heading up Wed. morning!)

Sounds great but I will be happy just to put my first archery buck on the ground. I just got back from a scouting trip with the family and saw a lot of deer, a third of them bucks. Was even happier to find out that I was one of the lucky left over winners, #943. Very pleased with your topo maps. Michael

Ok you lucky 12A tag holders,

Any buck of any size from any 2008 12A season can be submitted for the contest - no matter how big or small so don't be shy to submit your photos.

1. Winners: As it stands right now, there will be 1 winner per season, so 1 12A archery, 1 12A muzzy (east/west), 1 12A early rifle (east/west) and 1 12A late rifle (east/west) winner for a total of 4 lucky winners.

2. Photos: To ensure we're receiving 2008 pics from the Kaibab take your field shot AND a close up of your tag so we can see it. OR if you're hunting with a KeyToTheKaibab product like a Top Secret Waterhole map, etc., take a pic of your trophy with that product.

3. Details: Include with your pics either a story of your hunt or some basic stats ie., How harvested (tree stand, ground blind, still hunting), time taken, equipment, 12A west or 12A East and any other comments you want to include.

4. Prizes: Still being worked on but the lucky winners will receive any KeyToTheKaibab.com product(s) up to $50 in value! The submission deadline for all hunting seasons is 12/31/2008 and the prizes will be awarded in January 2009.

How about including the strip units as well? I have a 13A tag.I have to drive through the Kaibab units to get to my unit.... Shouldn't that count for something?
